The Forever Format: The last transferring service you'll ever have to use. We use the utmost care and consideration with your precious memories. And we use all methodology to rescue your film/tapes/media from the clutches of degrading moisture and aging.
Media Reception
We tally all your media: film reels, video tape, audio tape, slides & discs and input them into our system to let you know everything we've received. Each piece is accounted for and tracked.
Cleaning/De-Molding and Restoration
All pieces of media are cared for by being cleaned where necessary, de-molded through a careful process and restored to a point where, if one wanted, they could play the media on its original equipment.
Digitization/Transferring
With special made telecine projectors and image sensors, film is digtized at the highest quality available at a competitive price point. Magnetic tape is captured with high-end auto-tracking playback devices.
Upscaling/Color Grading
All media transferred can be upscaled using cutting edge technology to ensure each memory recovers details unheard of on an analog playback machine. Each tape/reel/disc is catered to with a custom recovery option
Encoding
Film, video, tape and photo/slide can be encoded to a high-quality but moderately sized format. For most final applications, mid-size resolutions will suffice, even for large screens and scaling and cropping.
Distribution
All files can be transferred to a hard drive, flash drive or on the Ahoj Productions cloud drive (free for one month after finish of project). Files can also be uploaded to a custom cloud drive at clients' request.
