Our Transfer Process

We tally all your media: film reels, video tape, audio tape, slides & discs and input them into our system to let you know everything we've received. Each piece is accounted for and tracked.

All pieces of media are cared for by being cleaned where necessary, de-molded through a careful process and restored to a point where, if one wanted, they could play the media on its original equipment.

With special made telecine projectors and image sensors, film is digtized at the highest quality available at a competitive price point. Magnetic tape is captured with high-end auto-tracking playback devices. Slides are scanned at professional grade resolutions.

All media transferred can be upscaled using cutting edge technology to ensure each memory recovers details unheard of on an analog playback machine. Each tape/reel/disc is catered to with a custom recovery option

Film, video, tape and photo/slide can be encoded to a high-quality but moderately sized format. For most final applications, mid-size resolutions will suffice, even for large screens and scaling and cropping.

All files can be transferred to a hard drive, flash drive or on the Ahoj Productions cloud drive (free for one month after finish of project). Files can also be uploaded to a custom cloud drive at clients' request.
